María Jesús Bikene Obiang has a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid (2008), and a Master's Degree in the practice of law conferred by the School of Legal Practice of the same university (2009). Since 2010, she has been a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Equatorial Guinea, and that same year, she became director of the law firm "Abogados Poe y Asociados S.L."

In 2016, at the invitation of the US Department of State, she took a course in the Administration of Justice and the Rule of Law in the United States of America. Between 2018 and 2019, she assumed the legal representation of dozens of prisoners of conscience, in the two mass trials held respectively in the cities of Mongomo and Bata.

Bikene Obiang actively collaborates as a lawyer or counselor in legal matters, with non-governmental organizations such as Igualdad de Derechos Humanos de la Mujer en África and Somos Parte del Mundo

She is Chair of the Equatoguinean Commission of Jurists

Lucas Olo Fernandes is a lawyer trained in Zaragoza, Spain, where he also obtained a Diploma in Advanced Studies and a Master's in E- Government and E-Commerce. Since 2011, he is a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Equatorial Guinea.

In 2012, he joined Transparency International as Regional Coordinator for Central African countries and program coordinator for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2016, he held the position of Acting Executive Director of Transparency International in Berlin, Germany. Since 2020 he manages a European Union fund through Transparency Portugal, aimed at protecting activists, promoting human rights and good governance in Equatorial Guinea.

In his professional beginnings he worked at the University of Zaragoza and in the private sector in Barcelona.

He collaborates with Abogados Poe y Asociados S.L. in projects that provide free legal assistance for victims of human rights violations. He is also an advisor to the firm in its different activities and legal strategies. On the other hand, he consults for various global NGOs on Human Rights, good governance and the fight against corruption.
